Weaving Technique
Persian rugs are famed for their intricate hand-knotting techniques. The quality is often measured by knots per square inch (KPSI). Conversely, other cotton rugs utilize simpler weaving techniques, such as flat weaving or tufting, and usually have a lower KPSI.
